About The Company
The Genevieve Strategy Group (GSG) is a black and woman owned business that advocates for racial equity and racial justice for the black community. As a practice and advisory consulting firm, we proudly uplift black communities, businesses, and grassroots organizations. With a concentration focus on public health and social determinants of health, GSG is dedicated to ensuring that the voices of the black community are not only at the table but are heard, respected, and included in the decision-making processes for their community. Research, policy, strategic development, and community engagement are the four core areas that we categorize our operations and practice. GSG commits itself to having high moral and ethical standards that value the lives of all human beings. We have been working in the Baltimore City communities for over twelve years and have been intentional with getting to know the heart and minds of those that live, work, and play in a city we call home. Our Baltimore Metropolitan area goal is to improve the quality of life for every black person.
Challenge Statement
Black and Minority Communities often do not evaluate outcomes of laws and policies once they are implemented. The need to understand the impact that laws and policies have on black communities are essential for quality of life improvement. There are a lack of to models that demonstrate how to successfully evaluate and implement public health policy and social determinants of health policies to ensure productive and positive impacts for black communities.
The Mission
To advocate for black communities to have the appropriate systems to meet the needs of the community. We will support black organizations, leaders, and allies through evaluations of programs and policies for inequities and effectiveness to improve the quality of life for the black community.
